Our Musical Roots

MAS Fina is a vibrant Central New York ensemble that celebrates roots and blues-oriented music. Members of this sextet are a subset of the Menage A Soul dance band that had a strong desire to perform in an all "roots" band.  MAS Fina in Spanish translates to "more refined" or thinner," more thin".  Since our focus is finer/thinner than our big sister band, we thought this name apropos.  Our song selection while staying true to roots and blues, are hits that resonate across multiple genres, finding a home with diversified audiences everywhere. roots and blues oriented music live music
